Anonymous asked: Is it possible that things such as the users online tracker, etc could update automatically instead of us having to load another page for it to change? Speaking of page loads, will Leviathan Harpooning, slots, ever be changed so that we don't have to load pages constantly?

keithkurson:

Subeta wasn’t really built for 2014. If I were able to sit down and start Subeta from scratch today I’d use meteor or ember which would make those sorts of things really easy.

I’ve been trying to implement the more “one page” things in pages like the new achievements, new wardobe, etc, where all of the data loads as you click on things and you never move from the page. Unfortunately because its just layers on top of old Subeta code it doesn’t make a huge difference.

Leviathan Harpooning, Slots, and games like that will absolutely get that treatment at some point in the future.

It’s Subeta’s 10th anniversary this month and to celebrate, they held a cake contest based on a subeta-theme. I based mine on one of the pets the Nostalgic Priggle with its interesting features. I’m happy that I managed to be one of the top 3 winners and now have an item of the cake’s design. It’s a nice birthday present for me (and it tasted great too! :D)

Subeta is a virtual pet site filled with a lovely atmosphere and creativity, Give it a good look here. ;)

Diminuendo for Caitlin on Subeta!

I’ll admit, I was afraid to do this one, because I wasn’t sure that the intricacies of the Nostalgic Lain would look good on my style. I’m proud of the eyes, though. Gives me high hopes that my first vector artwork of a human in FOUR years will look better than the one I did back in 2010!

For once, here’s a piece of vector art with a decidedly dark background.
